Art Deco side chair by Maurice Dufrene, France ca. 1925

Sculptural Art Deco Armchair, France 1930s
Prijs op aanvraag
A striking embodiment of 1930s Art Deco elegance, this sculptural armchair blends bold geometry with tactile richness. Upholstered in a sumptuous green velvet across the seat and backrest, the chair’s inner surfaces invite comfort and visual depth, while the outer shell—rendered in warm brown leatherette—adds a sleek, architectural contrast. The interplay of textures is both deliberate and dramatic, reflecting the movement’s fascination with material juxtaposition and modern luxury.
The silhouette is compact yet assertive, with gently flared arms and a squared back that echo the streamlined forms of early modernist design. Brass nailhead trim traces the contours with precision, adding a touch of metallic glamour and framing the upholstery like a tailored garment. The wooden legs, slightly tapered, ground the composition with quiet strength.

Pair of Vintage low Brutalist tripod Stools, Belgium, 1960s
Prijs op aanvraag
A striking example of mid‑century Belgian Brutalism, these 1960s stools embody the movement’s raw, architectural spirit. Carved from solid wood with a powerful sense of mass and materiality, it celebrates the honest, unrefined beauty of hand‑worked timber, an aesthetic that defined Belgian decorative arts of the postwar decades.
The round seats features bold, geometric carving that gives the piece a sculptural presence, while the three sturdy legs anchor it with quiet strength. Its tactile surface, marked by subtle irregularities and the natural grain of the wood, reflects the artisanal craftsmanship that made Belgian Brutalist furniture so distinctive. Rather than concealing the material, the maker highlights its weight, texture, and imperfections, resulting in an object that feels both primitive and modern.
Functional as a stool yet equally compelling as a decorative accent or pedestal, it brings warmth and authenticity to interiors ranging from wabi‑sabi and organic modern to contemporary minimalist spaces. The deep, time‑softened patina enhances its character, offering a sense of history without compromising structural integrity.
A beautifully expressive piece of mid‑century Belgian design, simple, sculptural, and full of soul.

Prijs op aanvraag
These 1930s French Art Deco armchairs present a refined dialogue between sculptural woodwork and soft, modern upholstery, capturing the confident elegance that defined the movement at its height. The walnut veneer, warm and richly figured, frames each chair with a luminous sheen that reflects the artisanal precision of early‑20th‑century French cabinetmaking.
The walnut veneer wraps the armrests and structural frame in sweeping, continuous lines, emphasizing the chairs’ streamlined form. Pair of black Mackintosh Willow chairs by Atelier International, Italy 1980s
Prijs op aanvraag
Two black 1980s Willow chairs designed by Mackintosh. The Willow chair was originally designed in 1904 by architect Charles R. Macintosh for the Willow Tea rooms in Glasgow as part of an re-design project.
The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Willow Chair is an upholstered settee constructed in ash wood with a curved back and storage below the seat. The chair's curved back forms the pattern of a willow tree and the lattice is made from a series of short horizontal insets between the continuous verticals slats. The tall semi- circular back served to separate the entrance area from the tea-room behind it. The back encompasses the seat, illustrating to perfection Mackintosh’s geometric and Art Nouveau style.
Both chairs have small, not disturbing wear marks. The original pillows are not included but can be made customized (size, color and fabric by choice) in consultation with the new owner.
Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a Scottish architect watercolorist, and designer, who played an important role in the turn-of-the-century Post-Impressionist, Arts & Crafts, and Art Nouveau movements. Mackintosh was a fierce believer in artistic freedom and independence, and his work exhibited an eclectic mix of styles and influences.

Two Bauhaus Cesca B64 Armchairs by Marcel Breuer, Italy 1928
Prijs op aanvraag
An iconic Cesca armchair, based on the groundbreaking design by Marcel Breuer in 1928, one of the most influential architects and furniture designers of the 20th century. This model exemplifies Breuer’s visionary use of tubular steel, a material he famously adapted from bicycle construction to revolutionize modern furniture.
The chair features the classic cantilevered chrome-plated steel frame, paired with a finely woven rattan cane seat and backrest, framed in warm, sculpted wood. This combination of industrial structure and natural materials became a hallmark of Bauhaus functionalism; harmonious, lightweight, and radically modern.
The Cesca was the first mass-produced chair to combine a tubular-steel frame with a caned seat and back, and it remains one of the most celebrated furniture designs of the modern era. Its name pays tribute to Breuer’s adopted daughter, Francesca (“Cesca”).
Originally produced by Thonet, followed later by Gavina and Knoll, the Cesca chair has become a global design classic. An early 1928 example is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, where curator Cara McCarty has called it “one of the 10 most important chairs of the 20th century.”
Timeless in silhouette and unmatched in historical significance, this Cesca armchair is a standout piece for any modern or vintage-inspired interior, a perfect synthesis of Bauhaus innovation and enduring style.

This original Louis XV ensemble; comprising two side chairs, two armchairs, and one sofa, embodies the lyrical elegance and sculptural refinement that define the Rococo tradition. Sets of this scale and authenticity seldom survive intact, making this collection an exceptional opportunity for collectors, decorators, and restoration enthusiasts.

Pair of rustic Oak Benches, France, 1850
Prijs op aanvraag
A beautifully authentic pair of mid‑19th‑century French Provincial benches, crafted around 1850, each one shaped by the quiet rhythms of rural life and the practical woodworking traditions of provincial France. Their simplicity is deliberate: furniture made for daily use, built from solid oak, and softened over generations into objects of understated elegance.
Each bench is fashioned from thick oak planks, joined with the straightforward, durable construction typical of countryside workshops. The long, narrow seats show gentle irregularities and softened edges—subtle traces of hand tools and long use. The sturdy leg structures, broad and stable, reflect the resourceful joinery of the period, when furniture was made to withstand farm work, communal meals, and household tasks.
The surfaces of both benches carry a richly developed patina: warm tones, visible grain, and age‑earned imperfections that give them their unmistakable presence. This natural wear is central to the French Provincial aesthetic, where authenticity is valued over refinement and the marks of time are embraced as part of the object’s story.
Despite their utilitarian origins, the benches have a sculptural clarity that makes them highly adaptable in contemporary interiors. Their clean lines and balanced proportions allow them to function as hallway or entry seating, low consoles or display surfaces, plant stands or wabi‑sabi accents or as rustic elements in minimalist or modern spaces.
